Rules Committee Meeting - Please Attend if you have Suggestions

Some of the items for discussion are:
* Combining and/or eliminating divisions for horse show and
gymkhana.
* Eliminating halter classes, or, have them judged by the trail
judge in the trail arena, or, have a halter clinic instead of classes.
* Points don't count towards year-end awards until membership is paid.
* Disqualification from year end awards for bounced checks or failure to
pay entry fees that are not resolved w/in a limited time period
* Clarifying authority of horse show, gymkhana and 3-D chairs for
cancelling events.
* Procedure for making up horse shows, gymkhanas or 3-D barrel events
that were cancelled after the event had already started.
* Losing hats during speed events
* and possibly more.
The changes will be read at the February meeting and voted on at the March meeting. However, if there are substantial changes made during the March meeting, it could result in a delay of finalizing the rules until April. The earlier you are involved, the better. Please note that you are not allowed to vote unless you have paid for your 2012 membership, however, you are still invited to have input in the suggested changes.
